The first thing I ever minted was this series of four called "Penrose Box" on Rarible.

The basis for the design was built for a different project. As a working art director, I'll typically prepare several "looks" for a client to choose a direction from.

Because of this, It's normal and expected that most of my work gets tossed into the "design graveyard." But this look caught my eye at the same time I was looking to play around with my own art again, so I threw a box in the comp and let the procedural system do what I had designed it to do.

Penrose Box #1 would go on to be my first NFT sale, so I have a special place in my heart for it, especially since it was built from a design system that I would have otherwise thrown away and forgotten about.
