ABANDONED CHURCHES
(Sold out on Primary)
"Abandoned Churches" is a collection of photos taken from inside some of the most alluring forgotten churches across the Northeast and Midwest (USA). Countless hours of research and driving, combined with gaining access to these off-limits spaces, contribute to their obscure beauty.
The collection was captured over 6 years and was a comprehensive labour of love. Each church holds a unique story of past communities, while sharing insight on today’s changing society. At present, some of these churches have been demolished or renovated, which means they will never again be photographed in their beautifully broken state. These select photos have now become a little slice of history.
